Echoing the thoughts of so many other webmasters out there, my heart goes out to all those touched by the terrible terrible tragedy in the US this week. If anything positive can come from the maw of such a horrible experience I wish that it serves to try and bring the world closer together in an effort to ensure that something like this never happens again

My thoughts are with you all, wherever you are

*tap tap* Hello? Anyone still alive out there? Good lord it's been a long time since I've done anything to this site... and that's 100% my bad (sorry). Work's been pretty busy over the past couple of months and after the HDD went into meltdown, I just haven't had the *oomph* to get back into drawing. I've made a few sketches over the past few weeks, and done a little work on some scripting (yes, believe it or not my crappy scribbles are actually scripted) so who knows, maybe we'll see a new 'toon pop up over the next few days (or I may win Lotto and hire Gary Larson to draw it for me... pfft, shyeah right...)

What else is new with me? Umm, I got a URL of my very own - I'm now the proud owner of ewombat.net. Gotta do something about putting a site up on the server now, too. I did make a screwup though - it was only after I had organised ewombat that I remembered a half-formed plan that some friends of mine and I had a while ago to register another domain name (won't say it in case you think it's nifty and steal it). Flex, Ben, if you read this I'll see what I can do to get that URL reg'd through the same system I used for ewombat

aww man, and it's only 11am... this is gonna be a long day...

Okay... looks like the HDD took offence at my last comment and decided to go all Kurt Cobain on me... if the Goddess is shining on me tonight, I'll have a new drive, and will have resurrected as much information as I possibly can. In the meantime, it looks like the world of Shadowrun is getting closer to reality (except for the elves and stuff...). We had an unmanned Drone Plane fly from California to Australia yesterday, setting a new record for unmanned flight. In the US's own words, the plane is "mostly autonomous". Now, I don't know about you guys, but I think that's pretty damn cool... unmanned drones flying between countries. They're gonna use it for recon work over Australia's north... can SimSense 'Trodes be that far away? I'm first in line for Occular Implants...

Crap. It's a very appropriate word, so I'll say it again. Crap Why am I saying it? Well, my brand new shiny 30Gb HDD has decided that it doesn't like me, Sarah, or the rabbit, so it's running at >1% Bad sectors. 1% doesn't sound too bad, does it? Well, trust me... when the machine locks up every 30 seconds and stays locked for nearly a minute... it's kinda annoying. I should be getting a new drive this weekend, and when that's done I'll try a low level format on this Drive Of Satan and see if it can gain redemption and salvation... so as a cause of this I have no way to scan any comics for a little bit (yeah yeah, I know, another excuse... ) I'll get my ass into gear one of these days. In the meantime... how about that Mach 7 hypersonic plane that NASA is testing. It'd have to beat the 4 hour delay I had on Thursday waiting for a 50 minute flight...

Yep, something a little different this time, a 2 panel B&W. How experimental am I? (actually it was a 3 panel strip, but a scanner ate the third panel, so I improvised) ^_^;;
